24 Nov 2019. Solemnity of Christ the King, Cycle C-2019. Lk 23:35-43

Even the soldiers jeered at Him. As they approached to offer Him wine, they called out, “If you are King of the Jews save yourself.” Above Him there was an inscription that read, “This is the King of the Jews” (Lk 23:37-38).

Behold, God the Father is King.
Behold, Jesus, His Begotten Son, is King.
Behold, the King of kings is Lord of lords.
Behold, the Highest of highs, You I exalt!

Magnify the Father and the Son who is One.
Magnify the Father and the Son who is God.
Might of all mights, You are God of all gods.
Awesome Wisdom, in You my spirit exults!

You are holy, I offer You reverence.
You are truth, I offer You obedience.
You are faithful, I offer You fidelity.
You are rock, I offer You trust.
You are great, I offer You praise.
You are good, I offer You thanks.

You are my God, I offer You my worship.
You are my King, I offer You my homage.
You are my Lord, I offer You my loyalty.
You are my Savior, I offer You my soul.
You are my Life, I offer You my love.
You are my All, I offer You all I have. VSS
