Jesus said to her, “Go call your husband and come back.” The woman answered and said, “I do not have a husband.” Jesus answered her, “You are right in saying, ‘I do not have a husband.’ For you have had five husbands, and the one you have now is not your husband. What you have said is true.” The woman said to him, “Sir, I see that you are a prophet…” (Jn 4:16-19).
Francis meets Bono of U2, with glee, So the Vatican photo release shows. Bono, the Irish, just campaigned to repeal Ireland’s Pre-born Right to Life Law. Proud to be a Christian, so he bragged. Saintly enough, so the Vatican claims. Francis meets Kim Davis, in secret. Davis declined to license same-sex wedding. Pope cheered before her, sneered behind her. Pope fumed at meeting arranger Viganò, “You never told me she had four husbands!” Not saintly to testify on sanctity of marriage. Jesus meets Samaritan woman, at the well. He said, "You have five husbands plus one b.f.". Amazed woman testified, he must be Messiah. “He told me everything I had done!” she said. Samaritan townmates believed and converted. Not saintly then, Saint Photine she is now. VSS
